How I saved 50+ bananas from being wasted

Last month, we talked to managers of local grocery stores, asking what happens to overripe produce. After sharing Patisserie Kristie's mission, they were more than happy to support and help reduce food waste. We scheduled a pickup date, which is how we ended up with over 50 overripe bananas. Although the bananas did not meet the aesthetic requirement to be shelved, they were perfectly edible and ready to be transformed into delicious banana bread!
