Our Mission

Produce is commonly removed from shelves and discarded when it ripens past a grocer’s desired aesthetic appearance, generating a major source of food waste which negatively impacts the environment.

 

Founded in 2024, Patisserie Kristie's mission is to fight food waste by partnering with local grocery stores and other organizations to rescue overripe produce—like browned bananas—from reaching landfills. We transform them into delicious baked goods that are shared with you! We strive to contribute to a world where perfect food is not tossed and instead transformed to create tasty treats.
